Florida Waterfront
The Ives Architectural Studio was asked to develop a study for a Chabad Center in Florida. Our design was modeled after the iconic headquarters building of Chabad located at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn combined with the Mediterranean revival style which is in harmony with the local conditions in this part of Florida. The program included worship spaces, multi-purpose classrooms for youth and after school, a rooftop cafeteria, residences for staff, mikvahs for men and women, youth lounge and administrative spaces for the Rabbi and staff.
The site work required an outdoor space that could be transformed into a Sukkah as well as a playground and outdoor cooking areas.
