Joel Ives, AIA founder of The Ives Architecture Studio has performed many projects for Temple Avoda in Fair Lawn New Jersey. During the 1980’s there was a complete interior renovation of the building. Large sliding door panels were installed to divide the worship in half to provide flexibility for different functions. Repairs were done over time to the roof and exterior of the building as well as a new entrance and canopy added. Part of the building was converted to a day care center. The rendering shown is for a proposed building addition above the youth lounge, enlargement of the building and provision for a new sloping roof including a complete retrofit of the exterior.
