Fair Lawn, New Jersey
The Ives Group led by Joel Ives, AIA was commissioned to redesign the 10 acre Nabisco site due to concern for pedestrian safety, dangerous truck traffic and freight train deliveries all crisscrossing one another. Additional trailer and employee parking space was provided, along with an entrance framed by red, lighted archways. Rubber matting was also placed at railroad tracks in order to create a safe rail grade crossing used by thousands of people each day. The entire parking lot was reconfigured and repaired. The project was brought before the Fair Lawn Planning Board to obtain approvals. The results of our services were a redesigned site plan with improved efficiency, esthetics and safety.
