The Ives Architecture Studio design won a national award in K+BB (Kitchen & Bath Business) magazine, for a gut-rehab in a house purchased by our client. The plan was drastically changed by removing all existing walls and finishes. Our staff, working with Amir Ilin of Kuche-Cucina, created a new kitchen space with a skylight and a powder room, breakfast bar, china cabinet and pantry. Ebony cabinets and natural oak wall panels were utilized with a white glass bar and wall units. This project also won an award in “Dream Kitchens & Baths” magazine. As a result of this project, Joel Ives has been asked to be a judge in the next awards issue of K+BB (Kitchen & Bath Business) magazine.
