The Acme Gear Company in Englewood, New Jersey was founded in 1929. They specialize in the manufacture of custom gears for the aeronautical industry. Their products were used for PT boats during WW II and in the NASA Moon Buggy. Acme Gear purchased state-of–the-art gear manufacturing equipment from a company in Germany and needed to raise the roof and renovate their building to accommodate the new equipment. The project designed by The Ives Architecture Studio is underway.
